SEG - Segment Number

Identifies the segment name of the ECCKT which is unique to each leg of a multipoint service configuration .

NOTE 1: The segment name is the suffix to the circuit ID that was assigned to the ACTL Access Customer Terminal Location to Hub circuit established on an associated Access Service Request.

NOTE 2: The segment is assigned and entered by the provider on all original requests.

USAGE: This field is conditional.

NOTE 1: Required when the LEGACT field is "C", "D", "M" or "K".

NOTE 2: Required when the LEGACT field is "N", the SUP Supplement to a service order. field on the ASR Access Service Request Form is "1", "2" or "3" and a confirmation notice has been issued.

NOTE 3: Optional when the LEGACT field is "R".

NOTE 4: Otherwise prohibited.
