ASCAI - Switch to Computer Applications Interface A common boundary between two systems or pieces of equipment over which there is intersystem communications.

This multi-purpose field provides for the ordering of the following optional access services associated with CENTREX.

A = 1, 2 and 3

USAGE: This field is conditional.

NOTE 1: Optional when the ACT field on the ASR Access Service Request Form is "N" or "C", otherwise prohibited.
