DSGCON - Design/Engineering Contact

Identifies the employee of the Customer or agent that should be contacted on design/engineering matters and to whom the Design Layout Report will be sent when applicable.

NOTE 1: This information should be extracted from the DSGCON field on the ASR Access Service Request.

NOTE 2: If DSGCON represents a customer different from that shown in the IC Initial Closure or Interexchange Carrier. field the (CCNA Customer Carrier Name Abbreviation.), the Design Routing Code (DRC) field may be populated for proper DLR Design Layout Report—A report containing technical and administrative information that describes the serviceprovided by the provider. The technical information is needed by the customer todesign the overall service and includes such items as cable makeup (gauge, loading,length, etc.), carrier channel bank type and system mileage, facility interfacesetc. The DLR is sent to the designated customer representative by the provider. distribution.
